Chris,
Here are some pictures of my Minn-e-rod in action.  I am currently in the lead for the “No
Smoking” award.  This award is given out by the club members for the puller who
consistently gives the best show, the best show usually means the most tire smoke.
I have your stickers and E85 stickers on the tractor.  People are amazed at the
performance running E85.  It’s awesome.  I’ll stay in touch,  I’ve sent a couple guys your
way and will continue to plug your carbs and E85 at all the pulls..Thanks again,..Rob

comments = Hi Chris,
Thanks for the help setting up our Holley 500 cfm carb to run E-85 for our dirt track
Sportsman (Pro-stock, Limited Late Model). Finished the season 2nd in points. Made
a minor high speed air bleed adjustement on 8/30/08 and led 14 3/4 laps of a 15 lap
feature. Unfortunately for 2009, we are combining with the late model class. We will
be pushing to still be able to run E-85, but most likely we'll need to run a 4 barrel.
Will be contacting you when I know what carb we'll be able to run.
Thanks again

Thanks for the great job you did on the 950HP e-85 conversion for the 477 Chevy I
recently built. The carb performed flawlessly on the dyno and had a fuel curve that was
within .02/pound on the BSFC numbers throughout the RPM range. The carb actually
performed best the way you had it jetted out of the box! Your "real time" tuning advice
while I was on the dyno was very helpful as well. With a simple timing and jetting sweep,
we had it tuned right in..This was a 92 octane engine when I last built/dynoed it. I raised
the compression to 12.2:1 from 10.25:1 and went with a slightly longer duration cam. It
went from 560 to 610 horsepower and from 540#/ft to 580#/ft on the torque. Like most of
the mild oval port stuff I build, it was done with 2.09/1.72 valves and only minimal port
work.
The throttle response it great and the it idles at 800 rpm. The data from your dyno/ build
sheet was very comprehensive and helpful as well. Myself and the engine's owner were
very pleased with the results.
You're the best in the business, expect more boxes from North Branch in your UPS in the
future!
Thanks again, Ron Flood, Cedar Machine Service.
P.S. I'll mail you the before and after dyno sheets.

Hi Chris,
I have a Rochester carb to be switched to E85 for a hobby stock car. Last year you did
one for me, and it worked awesome... this is for a friend. Can I go ahead and send it to
you?
Also I have a question do I need to worry about changing the jets with the weather like a
alky carb?

Hey Chris,
I have got to say I read the hype on-line about E85.  The "seat of the pants" and "time
slip" reviews.  After talking with on you the phone, I decided to send you the carb for the
changes.   I took the E85 hype with a grain of salt and to be honest if the carb changes &
E85 matched the C14 I would have been thrilled. I have a SB2 that dyno'd in at 771
hp/661 trq .   So I took the engine back to the dyno. With no other changes other than
plug heat range... timing  and your  E85 carb we went to 807 hp/689 trq.  From WOT
back to idle it all went as "advertised".   And the really sweet part of this is that I got the
fuel for dyno session on way to dyno shop at a gas station @ $1.45 a gallon. You now
have a loyal customer who in fact has already recommended you to another racer for
your carb mods.
Thanks,

comments = Hey Chris,
Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome carb.  I race a sportsman stockcar on a
3/8mile dirt track. I've bought expensive aerosol carbs and tried about everything else I
could,. was just about at my wits end with the dam things. Till I found your website. I
called you sent you a stock 4412 two barrel, and got back one of the most valuable
pieces of my racing operation. I've run the carb for two years right out of the box the way
you sent it back to me in, without changing a thing, not even a jet and it has run
flawlessly. Just over the last season I racked up 6 feature wins, 9 top 5s, and 2 top tens
and ran away with the track points championship.  My engine runs crisper, about 15 deg.
cooler, and not to mention I get my E-85 at the local Holiday station for about $1.45
gal. This saved me well over $1000 in race fuel costs in one season. Can't say enough
about E-85 and these carbs.......   Thanks Chris

demo derby  holley  E85 4412

We ran the carbs this past weekend and they worked perfectly! I placed second and it wasn’
t cause the motor died (I lost a tire and dug a hole). I turned her 7000 rpm (even a little
valve float) for ten minutes or so and the motor never missed a beat! Even had a nice
sharp blue flame coming out the stack the hole feature! I even got the most aggressive
driver award for how hard I was hitting.

Had a lot of people asking all kinds of questions about E85. After we came in from the
heat there was frost on the intake.

I will be sending more buisness you way in the future for sure.

Thanks

Hey Chris, just wanted to say thanks for the great carb work on my Holley 750 DP.  I
had made the mistake of buying “a kit” and doing it myself.  It was way off.  I came
to you for having it converted,.. my only complaint was not doing it sooner.  The car
runs way more consistent, it runs cooler, & it goes faster.  Not to mention air
changes don’t affect the ET nowhere near as much as when I was burning 110 race
fuel.  I managed a 2nd place finish in a shootout race the very first weekend.  The
only reason I didn’t get 1st was because I lifted off the gas.  The air was getting a
little better and I was used to the car picking up some with air changes.  Oops.  I
matched my fastest pass on gas (done in good air) with pass on E85 done in bad
air.   Can’t wait to see the difference this fall when the air finally gets “good” again.
My mph is a consistent 2 mph faster than it was on gas.  To top the whole thing off,
E85 has been $1.89 at the pump all year.  Thanks again for the great work & great
service.  It’s appreciated and I’d recommend you to anyone to make the switch and
get burning some corn!

dave g         8-6-10
Well my brother and I had our 10 seconds of fame last night on Pinks All Out.  They
showed my pass from the round of 32 and a couple short clips.  They show about 7
short clips with my brother’s car in it.  I wish my car was tuned in back then, like it is
now.  I would have been one of the 8 fastest instead of the slowest car out of the 32.
Oh well, car is spot on now.  For the limited number of races, I ran this year I did
quite well.  One 1st place, two 2nd place, and two 5th place finishes.  Never won
anything on race gas, so it must be the E85!  ;-)  Thanks again…

helping do some fine tuning. The last carb i bought is on a dragster running 8.51 and our
slowest car is running 10.6. saving money over racing fuel. super consistant cars also.

comments = Chris, Thank you so much for the GREAT job you did on my E85 carb! As
you know, I had it done over the winter by a very reputable carb shop, but the best I could
ever get out of it was 2 runs at 7.084 with a 1.559 short time, but that was back on April
29,11 when the track conditions and weather conditions were perfect. From there on, the
best I could get out of it was a 7.399 with a 1.718 short time. After fighting this since April,
I sent this to you last week, and got it back in time to race on July 2,11, WOW!!! The track
conditions were TERRIBLE, and the weather was awful with the altitude at 4500 ft., but I
ran 7.000  with a 1.532 short! I know when the track and weather conditions (or maybe
with a little more fine tuning) are better I will run in the 6s  no problem!!! Thank you Chris!
I will recomend you to everyone I know running E85 or thinking about it, because you do
know your stuff!!! THANK YOU! John

comments = UPDATE.. 7-9-11.What an a wonderful weekend we had! The track
conditions were just a little bit better than last week, and our truck ran 6.93 with 1.50 shorts
all night long. We made it to the final round, and since I was scared it wouldn;t  run it
again I burped it and lost by .0001. BUT runner-up makes me extremely happy! Chris if it
werent for you I would have never made it into the final round! Thank You so very much!
Hi Chris,
Attached is a link to my latest win this season.
I have to take the time to write this testimonial because you have been a big part to my
success as a bracket racer in the past 4 years. I have been running your e-85 850 CFM and
1050 cfm carburetors since 2008 and have recorded many wins. I remember the first week
out to the track with your 850 carb I had won. The consistency of e-85 is remarkable once
you get it tuned to your engine. It does not vary with the changing weather conditions as
much as conventional race fuel. Also, It is quite a bit faster, which doesn't hurt either!
What impress's me the most is your dedication to helping me tune this carb over the phone
(even on Saturdays) as well as performed some mods at your shop free of charge. You even
paid the shipping which is unheard of and why I will continue to be a loyal customer.
Your knowledge of carb tuning and e-85 is outstanding. I have been racing for 17 years and
have never delt with a more friendly information given individual.
Keep up the good work and I wish you all the continued success
I wish it could make it on your website to let more people know about your business and
e-85.

HI CHRIS.. ITS JOE FIANO, WENT TO A GOOD TRACK OVER THE WEEKEND, GOOD
AIR    TRACK HAD TEETH, THE CAR RAN AWSOME DEADLY CONSITANT WITHIN 1
THOU,      PICKED UP 1 TENTH, 2 MPH... VERY HAPPY THANKS.. WILL STAY IN
TOUCH... JOE
I haven't bothered you for a while so I thought I would give you an update. The
vacuum secondary Holley carb you did for my race car is really showing promise.
With a 350 with 200cc heads and a 246/252 cam and a dual plane intake (out of the
box) I have gone a best of 11.05@122mph. That's a lot of mph for an 11 second car.
Corrected to sea level is a 10.75@125mph.  Best on gas was 11.28
The engine wants to rev more so I changed the trans and the rear end gears. I
haven't had a chance to try it yet but I will in 2 weeks. The air will be better and I
think it will be well into the 10's. I'm working on some consistency issues but I believe
the engine isn't the problem. It seems to be in the worn out trans I was using. Thanks
for the help you have given me and I will let you know how it goes.
Tom C

BTW, The secondaries don't open till app. half a second before the shift (powerglide)
so I'm going a couple hundred feet on the primaries.
